Rima Salah, former deputy executive director of Unicef

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, Rima Salah, former deputy executive director of Unicef, for which she still undertakes many projects in world trouble spots, will speak about refugees and other crises. She now is professor atthe Yale Medical School’s Child Study Center, among many other affiliations.

She has been a powerful advocate for the protection of children and women in wars and post-conflict situations in many nations.

We very rarely have two speakers in a month, but given the interest in the refugee and related issues and Professor Salah’s very busy schedule, I thought it was worth it.
